Our History
It was in the 1960s when the founders of the company CINTAS MAURICI (Ramon Maurici Soler and his wife, Montserrat Garriga Gamisans) began their textile business as manufacturers with wide fabric looms in a workshop located on the ground floor of their family home.
During the following decade, the company began its conversion to the ribbon industry after acquiring two ribbon looms from one of the large factories in Manresa that had just gone bankrupt. Thus, the family business began producing ribbons for blinds and awnings.
In the 1990s, CINTAS MAURICI began a process of expansion, purchasing more machinery and thereby increasing production. It was then that the decision was made to move premises due to the need for more space, and the company relocated to its current location, a 1,500 m² warehouse in the Pla del Riu industrial park in Sant Vicenç de Castellet (Bages-Central Catalonia region).
